Hot topics discussed will include health and nutrition equity and cutting-edge research about the connection between peanut consumption and cardiovascular health and brain health. As a nutrient-rich, versatile and delicious food that is also affordable, peanut-containing foods are an accessible option for healthy diets. In addition, research shows that regular consumption of peanuts and/or peanut butter may be protective against common diseases of lifestyle and diet.
