Rochelle Werner conducts research with the Institute for Global Nutrition at UC Davis to evaluate the impact of food-based interventions on micronutrient deficiencies among young children in low-and-middle income countries. Rochelle has been recognized as a finalist in the Emerging Leaders program of the American Society for Nutrition for top-ranking global nutrition abstracts for the Nutrition Live Online conferences in 2020 and 2021. As a Registered Dietitian, she has provided consulting services on the Recipe Development Guide published by Catholic Relief Services and provided nutrition education and counseling services to women and young children through the WIC Program in Hollister, CA. Rochelle is proud to serve as the Treasurer of the Global Member Interest Group of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND) and support the Academys efforts to eliminate all forms of malnutrition, globally.
