Laura Russell, MA, RDN, LD, CDCES is the program coordinator at Endocrinology Clinic of Minneapolis. She has been an educator for over ten years and worked in various settings including research, inpatient care, telemedicine and out-patient clinics. Her expertise includes pregnancy and technology related to diabetes care. She is a contracted insulin pump trainer with all major pump companies. She has volunteered with Diabetes DPG for 8 years in various roles. She represented the Academy at a consensus conference on continuous glucose monitoring Washington, DC in 2016. Recently she presented at the Minnesota Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics state meeting on continuous glucose monitoring and authored an article in On the Cutting Edge (DDPG CPEU newsletter) on mealtime insulin dosing. Laura enjoys trying new foods, cooking, gardening, attending sporting events and being outdoors with her husband and three young children.
